WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, Congressman Matt Rosendale (R-Montana) sent a letter to Governor Greg Gianforte urging him to take action to combat the energy crisis created by the Biden Administration. In the letter, Rep. Rosendale proposes policy solutions: declaring a State of Energy Emergency to request that the IRS pause dyed diesel penalties, and a diesel tax holiday to provide financial relief to Montanans. “Across Montana, a diesel fuel shortage looms and gas prices remain high, leaving Montanans to suffer the consequences of the Biden Administration’s failed policies,” said Rep. Rosendale. “In a vast state where our citizens and the economy rely so much on transportation, an energy crisis of this magnitude demands significant action.” |
