Rep. Rosendale Applauds Passage of EXPLORE Act out of House Natural Resources Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02), member of the House Natural Resources Committee, voted to advance the Expanding Public Lands Outdoor Recreation Experiences (EXPLORE) Act from committee. The legislation would expand public land access by supporting recreation opportunities like biking and rock climbing, addressing access barriers for veterans and people with disabilities, streamlining the permitting process for small businesses, and more.

“The EXPLORE Act will provide crucial improvements to Montana public lands that will benefit all who visit and live in the Treasure State,” said Rep Rosendale. “I hope that House leadership will choose to advance this legislation to the house floor to increased accessibility and modernize public lands so everyone can appreciate the great outdoors without limitations.”
