Today, Representative Rosendale joined the ‘Protecting the Right to Keep and Bear Arms Act’ as an original cosponsor. The legislation prohibits the President and the Secretary of Health and Human Services from declaring certain emergencies or disasters for the purpose of imposing gun control.

Washington, DC -- Today, Representative Rosendale joined the ‘Protecting the Right to Keep and Bear Arms Act’ as an original cosponsor. The legislation prohibits the President and the Secretary of Health and Human Services from declaring certain emergencies or disasters for the purpose of imposing gun control. 

“The 2nd Amendment was written to prevent the government from seizing arms as the British tried to do at Lexington and Concord,” said Representative Rosendale. “I am proud to cosponsor this legislation, which would put a stop to the new Administration’s unconstitutional attacks on the 2nd Amendment.”
