WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) released the following statement after the House of Representatives transmitted their impeachment inquiry against Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas to the Senate.

"Secretary Mayorkas has deliberately violated his oath of office by aiding the invasion of millions of illegal aliens across our borders and allowing the transport of tons of deadly fentanyl into our nation," said Rep. Rosendale. "We have lost operational control of our southern border, and Mayorkas is undoubtedly the architect of this tragedy. The House has done its part; now it's time for the Senate to do theirs and hold Mayorkas accountable. He must be removed from office!"
