Rep. Rosendale Exposes Outrageous CEQ Budget Request

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) joined the House Natural Resources Committee Federal Lands Subcommittee in a hearing titled: “Examining the Council on Environmental Quality Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Request and Related Policy Matters” to examine and expose the Biden administration’s use of taxpayer dollars to push their radical climate agenda on Montanans.

“Since the onset of this administration, President Biden has charged the CEQ with pushing his radical climate agenda, often to the detriment of their mission under statute,” said Rep. Rosendale. “Originally conceived to facilitate the NEPA review process, this agency has, under the current administration, expanded into a battering ram used to drive President Biden's goal of "environmental justice." Even Chair Mallory’s chief of staff has acknowledged the unprecedented authority granted to the agency.”
