Rep. Rosendale Sends Letter To Withold Pay During Potential Lapse In Federal Funding

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) sent a letter to the Chief Administrative Officer, Catherine Szpindor, requesting for personal salary to be withheld for the duration of the potential lapse in federal government funding.

“In the event of a lapse in appropriations, I will be withholding my pay until the government reopens,” said Rep. Rosendale. “Congress has the obligation and statutory requirement to the American people to pass the 12 appropriations bills. I am prepared to do whatever it takes to make sure we deliver these 12 bills and fund government transparently and responsibly.”
