Rep. Rosendale Votes In Favor Of Supporting Israel By Removing Funding For Biden's 87,000 IRS Agents

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) voted in favor of H.R. 6126, the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, to provide Israel the resources it needs to defend itself against Hamas. This package is fully offset by recessions from the Inflation Acceleration Act of 2022, specifically Section 10301, which appropriated enhanced funding for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Biden’s additional 87,000 IRS agents have done nothing but intimidate hardworking Montanans, as demonstrated by the recent armed raid at Highwood Creek Outfitters in Great Falls,” said Rep. Rosendale.

That’s why I was proud to vote in favor of the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act so we can provide Israel with the resources necessary to defend itself against this heinous attack by Hamas and offset the cost by using funding for Biden’s army of weaponized IRS agents laid out in his and Nancy Pelosi’s Inflation Acceleration Act. Under Speaker Johnson’s leadership, not only have House Republicans put an end to Biden’s 87,000 IRS agents, but we also brought forward a single-subject aid package in a fiscally responsible manner to stand with our strongest ally in the Middle East while keeping our promise to the American people to stop Biden’s alphabet agencies from being weaponized against us.”
