Rep. Rosendale Calls for Repeal of DHS Woke Gender Rule

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02), along with Congressman Andy Biggs (AZ-05), and Congresswoman Mary Miller (IL-15), sent a letter to Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas demanding that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) immediately rescind a woke gender-affirming rule and work to close the borders or resign immediately.

“We are facing an invasion at our southern border, and the Biden Administration is more concerned with adhering to the feelings of transgender illegals,” said Rep. Rosendale. “It’s high time Sec. Mayorkas was held accountable for allowing terrorists to enter our nation and for the 100,000 Americans dying annually from fentanyl!”

Key Background:

  • Last month, an uncovered internal CBP document showed CBP agents have been directed to ask illegal aliens their “preferred pronouns” during encounters at the current wide-open Northern and Southern borders.
  • In 2023, encounters at the Southern border hit a staggering 2.47 million, terror watchlist apprehensions rose 72%, and enough fentanyl was seized to kill 6 billion people.
