Rep. Rosendale Rejects D.C. Cartel Minibus

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02), voted against H. Res. 1061The 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act.

This bill was another continuation of Nancy Pelosi’s budget and Joe Biden’s policies that costs over a trillion dollars and included hundreds of pages of earmarks.

You can hear Rep. Rosendale’s remarks on the bills’ passage by clicking on the picture below:

“I just walked off of the floor of the House of Representatives and Congress has now passed yet another minibus to fund government for another year. This minibus is going to cover six of the appropriation bills. It contains about 2000 pages of documents, it is $513 billion in spending, of which, about $12 billion is earmarks that different members have inserted into this legislation. This was passed without a rule which means that there was no debate and discussion on the floor and again I will tell you, this is not a responsible and transparent way to fund government. Talk about a broken system, this is the broken system.”
