Rep. Rosendale Slams Biden’s $7.3 Trillion Fiscal Year 2025 Budget

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02), released the following statement after President Biden revealed his budget for FY2025:

“In typical D.C. Cartel fashion, Biden released his budget for FY2025 over a month past the First Monday in February deadline that was set in the Congressional Budget Act,” said Rep. Rosendale. “Joe Biden voted for the Congressional Budget Act when it passed the Senate in 1973. It’s disappointing that he now chooses to delay the budget’s release while knowing how pertinent maintaining deadlines is to passing 12 appropriations bills. The $7.3 trillion price tag is $2.3 trillion more than expected revenue and an insult to American taxpayers who will be forced to foot the bill for the continuation of this administration’s increasing debt, open border, and Green New Deal policies.”
