Rosendale Testifies in Support of Sun River Hydropower Authorization Act

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Representative Matt Rosendale testified before the
House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Water, Oceans, and Wildlife in support of the Sun River Hydropower Authorization Act. This legislation, which boasts widespread bipartisan support, would authorize hydroelectric power generation from the Bureau of Reclamation's Sun River Project, which includes the Gibson Dam. “The Sun River Hydropower Authorization Act would allow hydropower generation at the Sun River Project, including the Gibson Dam,” Rep. Rosendale Said. “I was glad to testify in support of my bill, and I look forward to it receiving a vote in committee soon.”

Erling Juel, District Manager for Greenfields Irrigation District also testified before the Subcommittee in support of the legislation.
