WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02) and Rep. Josh Brecheen (OK-02) sent a letter to the leaders of the House and Senate Armed Services committees respectfully urging them not to include any House or Senate provisions to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2025 that will expand In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Specifically, they are concerned with Section 701. Assisted Reproductive Technology for Certain Members of the Armed Forces and their Dependents Under Tricare and similar provisions being included in the legislation. The Hill published an exclusive article highlighting the letter. You can see the story by clicking on the image below: “While we have great sympathy for couples who are having difficulty starting a family, IVF is ineffective, leads to the destruction of innocent human life, and does nothing to treat the root cause of a couple’s infertility,” Rep. Rosendale and Rep. Brecheen said. “Congress must protect the most vulnerable in our country and reject any provision that leads to the destruction of innocent human life and expands our nearly $36 trillion debt.” Background:
